Founded in 1977 by Stewart Craddy, under its earlier name of Craddy and Partner, the practice has been providing engineering services for over 30 years. Simon Pitchers joined Stewart in 1983, and in 1999, the name of the practice changed to Craddy Pitchers. Colin Davidson joined the practice in 2002, and when Stewart retired in 2004, Colin joined Simon as Director of the limited company. In December 2006, the name of the practice changed again to Craddy Pitchers Davidson and Pete Febery joined Simon and Colin as a Director.
The practice has grown considerably since 2002 when it moved out of Clifton into new purpose build offices in Ham Green. It currently employs over 30 people working on interesting and diverse projects for a wide variety of clients.
