About us :
We are a completely independent Civil and Structural engineering consultancy, owned by the directors and based in modern purpose built offices on the outskirts of Bristol, with easy access from the city and from the M5. There’s no ‘head office’ to please, we do what we like. Our people are our most important asset. Our philosophy is, as far as we can, to ensure equality through the team – including the directors. All 30 of us are enthusiasts working together in the same open plan office. The atmosphere is brilliant. About you :
If you’re good, we’d like to talk to you. You will be a degree qualified civil or structural engineer, with 5 or more years experience in engineering consultancy. You will be chartered or near chartered and looking for a new challenge where you will have the opportunity to expand your horizons and be truly involved with the management of an engineering consultancy.
The role :
You will be involved directly with the management of the consultancy business, making financial decisions, allocating resources and expanding the team. You will manage a portfolio of projects and will lead a team of engineers and technicians to give our clients exactly what they want – with brass knobs on.
You‘ll need to get involved in marketing and client development. You’ll mentor younger members of our team and assist in their continued development and training.
