If you hadn't noticed already, Craddy Pitchers has changed its name to Craddy Pitchers Davidson. Our valued clients were made aware of this change, which came into effect on the 1st December, through the launch of the eagerly awaited 2006 Craddy Pitchers Davidson countdown to Christmas calendar. In developing the unique and innovative design for the calendar, we carried out extensive research amongst our staff in order that we could pass on pearls of thrift and engineering excellence.

We believe that that the dissemination of knowledge within the construction industry is key to the development of a civilised society. In developing the unique and innovative design for the calendar. We took the opportunity of our calendar issue to ask our clients for their own tips so that we could share them with a wider audience. These are still coming in thick and fast, and we have included some of our favourites below.

"Don't bother with part loads of concrete at the end of your concrete pour. Bricks, soil, clay and rolled up paper bags can act as an excellent filler and will allow you to sneak off early for a pint." - J Atrick, Rogers, Wayne and Eastwood Builders (UK) Ltd

"If you find a worm on the lawn and you can't feed it back into the hole it emerged from - straighten it out, put it in the freezer for 4 hours then take a hammer and drive it back into the ground like a nail." - Bill Annis of Aster Group

If you think you could do better. Share your knowledge and contact us.
